Coming in September: Knitter’s Ed, a new approach to beginning knitting. We have listened to your feedback regarding classes—you want to learn to knit, but you’re busy and it’s hard to commit to a fixed schedule. So, we tore up the schedule! Sessions will be held each week on Tuesday from 2-4, Wednesday from 5-7 and Saturday from 11-1. Start anytime! Buy your Knitting Learner’s Permit for $65, and you will have access to five 2-hour sessions, whenever it fits your schedule. We do ask that you either call or email us at least one day prior when you are planning to attend so that we can adjust staffing as needed.

You’ll learn to:
Cast on (long-tail)
Knit stitch
Purl stitch
Bind off
Joining, knitting in the round
Double pointed needles
Swatching & gauge
Reading a pattern

Class fee includes 2 balls of Dale Garn Lanolin Wool, circular needles, pattern, and Heart of the Mitten bag. Additional supplies (double pointed needles, scissors, measuring tape, tapestry needle) will be available for your use during class.
